Spring Holy Day Schedule

Last Day of Unleavened Bread
April 29th - 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM (NHF)

Matthew 25 Ministry Outreach

Matthew 25 Ministries provides disaster relief and humanitarian aid to those in need. Jesus Christ said, "As you did to the least of these my brothers and sisters, you did it to me." Matthew 25 Ministries seeks to fulfill this mission by providing aid both domestically and internationally.

We are planning a volunteer group on Saturday, April 30th from 11:00 - 1:00, at their Humanitarian Aid Center in Blue Ash, where we will sort, count, and package goods that have been donated. There will be an opportunity to tour their Global Village and gain more understanding about the needs of people around the world who are affected by poverty and natural disasters.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Stacey Shoemaker by April 2nd.

Sabbath Class

The next Sabbath class is scheduled for May 7th. Future classes are planned for May 21st (Sabbath Class Graduation) and June 4th.

Wednesday Night Bible Study

We will resume the Wednesday Bible Studies after the Spring Holy Days. Check back later for details.

Please contact Carmen Kincade for additional information.

They have gone to Burma, Haiti, India, Kenya, Liberia, Christian Appalachia Project, and Matthew 25 Ministries. We have another 250 finished and ready to go. If you know of a ministry or organization in the states or overseas that could be blessed by a shipment of dresses please let Linda Stephenson know. A huge thank you to those who have helped with the project! Everyone is always welcome to join in!

Camp Outreach

Exhausting. Exhilarating. Exciting. Camp Outreach can be described lots of ways, but volunteers at the annual service camp, held in inner-city Indianapolis June 19-25, agree that it is life-changing.

Whether it's teaching the Bible to children, putting a roof on the home of a widow, replacing crumbling steps, or covering graffiti on bridges, the work is satisfying, purposeful, and surprisingly fun!

Youth, (12 up), families, young adults, and retired people stay in dorms or motel rooms at Camp Camby, a rural church camp just minutes from downtown Indy. Bible studies and debrief sessions, swimming and sports round out the free time.

Applications may be downloaded from the Camp Outreach website. Camp fees are subsidized by donations to Common Ground Christian Ministries, and your cost of $135 covers food, housing and activities.

A Little Housekeeping Note

NHF has asked that we please not leave any dishes in the sink or drying rack. Let's all work together to make sure we have everything dried and put away before we leave. Thanks!

Early Out

We will need to vacate the church building by 5:00 pm on the second Sabbath of each month to accomodate NHF evening activities. On those Sabbaths, NHF members may be entering the building beginning at 4:00 pm to begin any needed setup.

Attention All Parents

Parents, please work with your children to be sure all toys, pillows, food, drinks etc. are cleaned up and put away properly each week. We are blessed to have a wonderful relationship with the NHF church. Please help us preserve that relationship and shine the light of Christ by caring for the building with which He has blessed us.

Kroger Community Rewards Program

Here is an easy way to provide additional funding for our congregation. Kroger will donate a portion of each sale made using your Kroger Plus card. Simply sign up at the link below.
